On Thursday we awoke to a rainy day and decided that it would be a great day to just do some chotres and sit by the fire, read and enjoy each other’s company. After a trip to the Gander library to check Judy’s computer we had lunch and returned ‘home’ and spent the rest of the day just relaxing. Friday morning we had a leisurely breakfast, talked a while and before we knew it , it was lunch time so we eat and ran to get on the road to Grand Falls.
The only photo I can show is our final one of Gander.
Off at 8am this morning to Gander to meet Fred and Judy and spend some quality time with them. They are more members of our Newfoundland family.
Another lazy morning and off to visit with PDG Dennis and Susan and had a wonderful visit at their beautiful home.
Then on to Chafe’s again as we did not have enough fish on Friday.
A nice relaxing day with friends who spoiled our dog and us. Photos taken at PDG Mark Brown’s home. Mark is a fantastic artist. Look at his paintings at https://www.facebook.com/groups/53554348755/?fref=nf
We had a relaxing day today. Had coffee with Lisa from the Rotary Eclub and in the afternoon and a wonderful dinner at Chafes in Petty Harbour.
The product below is a special product from Sam Adams that is available only as a gift from the owner. It is “beer” that is more like a cognac. Beautiful !!!! Mike’s daughter is brewmaster at Sam Adams so he gets special treatment.
The photos below show the wonderful scenery between Port aux Basque and Grand Falls. A wonderful day with a special evening with Mike and Sheila Goodyear
